Charles Kuykendoll, the creative mind behind RNBHouseParty, and its evolution into Blavity House Party, excels in creating inclusive spaces for multicultural creatives. His experiences range from cultural strategy and brand partnerships with Fortune 500s, content creation, hosting stages & events at AfroTech Conference and Essence Festival of Culture, being an honoree of the 2024 Creative Class by CultureCon, Essence Magazine’s Power 40, and a Season 5 cast member of The Black Love Doc on Own Network. As a podcastor, co-hosting the "For Better or Best Podcast" with his wife Shireen, he is balancing family life as a father, while being a multi-hyphenate and industry leader. He demonstrates his diverse skills daily as a creative and multi-hyphenate while working tirelessly to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Shireen is a wife, mother, career woman, and a lifestyle influencer. She has appeared on the OWN Documentary Black Love, has been featured on BET and Essence, and sat on many panels, including one at Essence Festival of Culture. She also co-founded RnBHouseParty, an experiential brand that was acquired by Blavity Inc. in 2023. She is the host of the For Better or Best Podcast, where she dives in on topics, surrounding family, motherhood, travel and living a full life after children. In addition, she leads Diversity and University Recruiting at Riot Games. Her hope is to create pathways for underrepresented people, marginalized communities and POCs to have robust careers in tech.
Kareem is a first-generation scholar who majored in Mathematics at DePauw University. He began his career on Wall Street with Lehman Brothers Investment Bank and was later recognized by Crain's Chicago Business as part of its inaugural "20 in Their 20s" for his leadership potential. In 2013, Kareem pursued an MBA at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, where he was named a Poets & Quants "2015 Top MBA to Watch." After graduating, he led the Breakthrough Innovation team at Kraft Heinz, launching Just Crack an Egg, a Nielsen Top Breakthrough Innovation. He then joined Google, partnering with fortune 500 brands to successfully achieve their business goals. Through his entrepreneurial endeavors, Kareem and his business partner sold RNB Houseparty - a creative agency dedicated to inclusive spaces for multicultural creatives
- to Blavity Inc. Today, Kareem is the franchise owner of a Chick-fil-A in Chicago. His diverse working experience empowers him to lead his team, serve the community, and achieve business success.
